Theta Studio

Theta Studio is located in famous touristic area Ammoudara and extremely close to the beach, within 5min walk. Right under the studios building, the visitor can find grocery and souvenir stores, restaurants, bars etc. International airport of Heraklion is located around 10km and Heraklion city around 5km far. Local buses are suggested for visiting the city of Heraklion, Knossos Palace, Airport, Port etc., as the bus stop is almost in front of apartments.

Even though the neighborhood is quiet in general, the main street which is 1min walk from the studios is very busy all day, since all the souvenir shops, restaurants, bars, groceries, car rentals etc. are all located on that central street. It is a very usual habit for the visitors as well as the locals, to go for a swim, from morning until the evening and then, after having a refreshing shower at the studios, to go out for an evening walk to the shops of the main street. Also, during the night local beach bars and cafes have many fiestas, parties etc. which is the best way to finish your day. The locals are very friendly and sometime they might seem curious to you, but it is just part of the locals culture where we all know each other. Just say hello to them and they might even offer you local treats.

One of the greatest features of the studios is the easiness to transportation access. Specifically, the studios are located almost behind the Taxi and the Bus stop! This means that with less than 1min walk you can take a taxi or a bus to the airport, port or the city center of Heraklion city. The buses are available from morning until late night and the city center is next to Amoudara (around 5km close). In Ammoudara you can also find many car and bike rentals, so that you can manage your own daily programme.
